Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Marc Rivest has been making a full-time career in music since 2013. He possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Guelph, and a Diploma in Jazz Studies from Capilano University. He has studied guitar with Bill Coon, Ron Samworth, and Andre Lachance; and voice with Geordie Roberts and Steve Maddock.

As a performer, Marc has played at bars, clubs, restaurants, and private functions across Canada. He has participated in VIA Rail’s Artists on Board program, Calgary Transit’s Musicians in Motion program, and has been a resident musician with the Trout Point Lodge of Nova Scotia and Grouse Mountain. He currently releases his music online and is writing material for his next studio recording
