Sabina Rzazade  has experience performing both nationally and internationally. She completed a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at Brandon University under Alexander Tselyakov. She began playing piano at the age of nine. Sabina competed in many international competitions before coming to Canada for her studies. She is a laureate of numerous international competitions. She was a prize winner at the 2014 “Future Stars” in Azerbaijan, Baku, and the 2015 Frederic Chopin Competition, in Narva, Estonia and placed first in the 2016 Konstantin Igumnov International Competition in Lipetsk Russia. She performed with the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra in 2014 and 2015 under Teymur Goychayev, as well as the Symphonic Orchestra of Azerbaijan in 2016 under Rauf Abdullayev and in 2017 under Fuad Ibrahimov.

Upon moving to Canada in 2017 to study under Alexander Tselyakov, Sabina participated in and took prizes at numerous competitions and festivals at the local and provincial level. She was a scholarship winner for the 2017 MRMTA competition in Manitoba. Sabina auditioned for the 2018 Virtuosi Young Artists Program and was chosen to play as the opening performer for Lara St. John and Matt Herskowitz as part of the Virtuosi Concert Series in Winnipeg. Sabina was the winner of the 2018 Western Financial Group Tudor Bowl and Encore Competition as well as the winner of 2019 Encore Competition for the Brandon Festival of the Arts. In November 2019 performed with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra under Naomi Woo for the WSO in Brandon Concert Series. Sabina looks forward to continuing seeking opportunities to explore interesting repertoire and work with more outstanding musicians.
