The CW Triple-Threat Program explores music, dance and theatre. The program allows students to explore multiple Arts Programs to prepare them for the stage in a “Triple-Threat” (Music-Dance-Act) Production! Students meet in weekly group rehearsals to refine their skills in dancing, acting/runway to develop stage presence, confidence and co’ordination. Students are grouped by age (kids/tweens/teens). Students will also further develop their skills in weekly Private Lessons to refine their music knowledge in 1:1 vocal or instrument studies. All Performing Arts students meet together in April to prepare a “Triple-Threat” Production that is comprised of singing, dancing and acting. The “Triple-Threat” group will perform in December and June concerts and other venues with an audience. Additionally, each student will perform a solo that they prepared in their weekly private lesson at each concert.

The CW Music Performance Program focuses on performance-based music education in a supportive environment. The goal is to get these students ready for the stage! Students meet in weekly group rehearsals to learn and play songs in a rock band setting. Students are often grouped by age (kids/tweens/teens) and are assigned material that is arranged by the Music Instructor depending on a student’s experience and current skill level. Students will also further develop their skills in weekly Private Lessons to go over and focus on mastering the material that they were given in the group rehearsal. Depending on the duration of the private lesson, a teacher may be able to include material outside of group rehearsal including method books and repertoire for solo performances in the December and June recitals. The performance group itself will perform in December, June and other venues with an audience.

The CW Music Conservatory Program teaches the essential elements of musical training and music literacy, while also encouraging students’ enthusiasm for music, empowering their artistic expression and celebrating achievements. Students will have an opportunity to perform solo selections in front of an audience in the December and June recitals. Private Lessons focus on learning technique and fundamentals of an instrument of choice. Good practice habits and weekly responsibility become beneficial skills that translate to other life skills. Students will also be a part of a comprehensive and effectively sequenced curriculum of group Music Theory study and assessment, beginning with the Preparatory level(s), followed by level 1 to 10. At each level, a Certificate of Achievement can be earned by successfully completing a Royal Conservatory practical examination.

B:Sparks are comprised of students who have little to no music experience and want to explore a variety of instruments. These students will have weekly group music lessons where they learn music fundamentals including chords, rhythm, dynamics, music terms and song structure. Additionally, students will also be a part of our musical theatre (sing/dance/act) which teaches stage presence, choreography, team-work, co’ordination and memorization. Students will learn and experiment with multiple instruments in Junior / Senior Jamz Theatre so they can decide which instrument(s) they gravitate to and want to pursue learning in the next path of our Program Road Map: CW Conservatory, CW Performance, CW Performing Arts.
Upon completion of this program, students can choose to join Conservatory, Performance or Triple-Threat Programs

This program is designed for toddlers and preschoolers and their sponge-like minds! It features a curriculum of classes consisting of music, dance and parent-&-child activities that engage students in games and tasks that instill foundational skills such as rhythm, melody, dynamics and song structure; movement, co’ordination, team-work. These skills are further developed in the Spring group class called Mini Jamz which incorporates all these learned concepts to prepare children for a unique performance in the June concert!
Upon completion of this program, students can choose to join B: Music Sparks in the next Term.
