SONGWRITING & RECORDING WORKSHOP – spotify your song!
Songwriting & Recording Workshop
This program is designed for students with prior music lesson experience who want to take their skills to the next level.
Schedule:
- Week 1 (August 13 & 14 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm):
- Thursday: Songwriting fundamentals, melody, chord progressions, and lyrics.
- Friday: Song structure, arranging for a band, rehearsal, and pre-production.
- Week 2 (August 20 & 21 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm):
- Thursday: Recording instruments and vocals, microphone techniques, and DAW basics.
- Friday: Editing, basic mixing, and a final listening session.
Workshop Details:
- Cost: $340.00 (5% off if registered by July 31)
Includes 12 in-studio hours and instructor time outside of the workshop hours
- An original song the student wrote and a mastered recording.
- Experience recording in a professional studio environment.
- Basic knowledge of music production.
- Custom cover artwork for their release.
- An understanding of music distribution, with their song submitted to Spotify and other major streaming platforms.
